decent manuel. needed to reglue the whole front from firewall. and also some extra ply and heavy stringers to make it strong enough for a rcgf 35 cc gasser. still need to fly it tho. waiting for better wether

Came well packaged and in excellent condition. Built mine with a DLE 30. Strengthened the fire wall and motor box to take the 30. But heaps of power using a 19x8. Hovers under half throttle. This model tracks well, performs all the tricks you want. Absolute fun to fly. Great value for money

Wrong screws.

The bolts of the ailerons and elevator linkages are small and it is not possible to fit the nuts and tighten. I do not find in my city bigger bolts with the same diameter to buy.

For the price this plane it is a great deal! Quality of build and level of completion is right up there with the last Pilot RC 30cc plane I got. It's built light just like the 30cc Yak I got from HK that is made by the same manufacturer (formerly sold under Hyperion label at twice the price). Hardware is decent. The only thing that quality is lacking in is the wheels, will replace. It comes with matching SFGs, CF LG, and is packaged better than anything I've seen. It uses a 3" spinner, not included. Be advised that the color scheme you receive may not be what is pictured. Mine is Yellow, Black and Red. Using an 8S setup with 270KV HK Propdrive with 19" or 20" Prop, or whatever produces about 2K+ watts. If it flies anywhere near as good as my Yak I'll be happy.. And after looking at the kit I have little doubt it will. BTW mine came with a mini disc for the manual but it's blank? It's a straight forward build. CG should be on or just aft of the spar like most aerobats. It also allows positioning the rudder servo way forward right behind the motor which really helps with getting the CG right without using giant packs or lead on the nose. You won't be disappointed with this kit! Will report back after maiden flight.

Big model slow flyer, reasonable value.

I bought the Extra SC, early 2017, only got around to finish August. Well packaged. Quality average; get what you pay for. Good use of carbon fibre on main stringers for strength, but they could have used more C/F into the frame as well. Very light airframe for size. Dry fit of wings and horizontal stabiliser revealed misalignment of locating pins; some filing and sanding needed to get good fit and realignment. A couple of hardware pieces were missing, luckily I carry heaps of parts. Covering, reasonable quality, durable, ironed on well.
Most confusing part was the C,D, instructions which gave dimensions for multiple models, but the specs for the Extra SC were wrong. Not a big deal as I worked out the C of G which worked out correct for my electric set up.
I mounted a Turnigy 5065-270kv series, 1800w, Plush 80 ESC, sep BEC, sep receiver pack, 2200 2 cell, motor powered by 5000 mh, 6 cell, 22X10 wooden prop. Flying weight, 4,3 kg. Slightly under powered on 6 cell, 8 cell would be perfect, but I used what I had lying around. Being light if flies very well with little tip stall tendencies, capable of most manoeuvrers, flies slow enough I can fly at my local park, - slow landings. Good model to put together if you’ve got some building experience behind you. If you discount the somewhat confusing instructions, it goes together well, (other than the locating pins) and flies well too.

Just received it, nice model

Just received the model form the global warehouse. Excellent packaging with heavy double walled cardboard box with honeycomb centre. Model arrived in perfect condition. Very nice fibreglass cowl, wheels pants and film covering job. Excellent value for money. Looking forward to getting it in the air in the summer (winter now). Plan on installing a 8S brushless setup. :)

Going to fit a dle 20cc in it .I feel a 30cc will be a bit too much for this light airframe.
My aim is to keep it light and have a low wing loading.Love the colour scheme
