Once assembled this feels really solid, so check your crown wheel when you replace the "diff"

For the sake of a plastic part in this kit you're better off buying a spare open diff and super-gluing it up and use with the metal/steel parts!

yes I agree,it would be nice to have the drift connecting parts made of metal than plastic.so far so good with drifting and on road tires(1/10 tires but you need a 12 mm hex hk don't sell except in extreme drift kit form,i sorced elswhere)on my monster beatle.the only mod I did to this lock dift is glued the drift connecting parts togeather for better hold and less movement.locked front diff as will.being using for about a week in this setup without problems.will let you know when or if I break it as others have done cheers

I had a damaged drive gear on my Monster Beatle. This Drive Gear fit very well into the differential for Monster Beatle.
