Excellent jet. Requires some small improvements like reinforced front landing gear mount. The price is unbelievable - it's a $200 plane. Takeoffs are a bit tricky as CG is very close to mains and nose constantly tries to jump on any bump. In the air is pretty fast but easy to control. Landings are fast, won't hurt adding flaps as ailerons are too big anyway.

Today I did test fly my Cougar from Hobbyking. And I am very happy with it. Power is enough for good climbing - though it is not a 6S of course. EDF workes and sounds great without any modifications.
I did fly 2x 2S1P 4000 in series, as all my 4S1P only are about 2650 and with that not heavy enough to achieve the CG. And I did not want to add weight for nothing. With the 2x 2S1P completely in front of the plane the CG (80mm from beginning of the wing) was correct automaticalls.
It was a good idea to for me to set servo range of the rudder down to 50pcnt with 85 Expo: The jet needed quite a long way to taxi and this helped to keep it on the street. Also I did start with flaps down. Not sure if this is correct for an RC plane, but full scale planes I have more experience always start with flaps down. And it started nice.
Building went well - I used 30min Epoxy for everything. Quite happy with this decision.
Besides of all the plane looks just cool, in my opinion, even if it is only on the ground in the appartement.
