I received my Fabrikator Mini and had it up and running within an hour of opening the box. I ran through the setup and calibration steps in the manual with little difficulty. I was able to make ~5 complete prints when the print head lift motor stopped working during the print process. The printer continued to operate and (try to) feed filament, but without the head lifting for each new layer it quickly started dragging back over itself and the head started catching in the, now, failed print. The lift motor fails to follow the manual commands to lift the head. I power cycled the printer several times as well as restarted my computer, only to have it run into the same issue after ~10 layers of print. Looks like this printer is headed back to Hobby King and I'll be searching for a more reliable unit.

I ordered this printer from the USA West warehouse and got it in only 3 days, nice.
I have a full size printer but I wanted something small that would fit on my work bench next to my computer. Its a perfect fit, this printer is tiny.
Positives:
- Its small enough to fit on your desk
- Price
- Uses standard filament
- Accurate and easy to setup
- It comes completely assembled, I had it out of the box and printing in less than 30 mins
- Incredibly quiet, my full size makes a racket compared to this mini printer
- Lots of spare parts you can get from Hobby King

Negatives:
- Its tiny, don't think you are going to print anything larger than 3 1/8" cubed
- Plexiglass or acrylic case, not sure how this is going to stand up but easy to glue.
- The instructions mention a file that we can download from Hobby King to simplify setup
There are NO files where the instructions said to look
- The product description mentions you can add an LCD and SDIO card, do the LCD/SDIO
setup on eBay fit?

I think the positives out weigh the negatives, great value, awesome product!
