I bought two sets to use on my Vela and custom 36/600 Northwind. They are made from a heavier sail material (40-60 oz?) and would be best used in stronger wind conditions (>10 knots). They are flat and don't have much shape to them.... BUT!, for less than $6 you get a great basic sail you can customize (ie. cut & tape to add shape, add graphics, numbers, logo). You would be paying a lot more for a similar quality sail. I will be ordering more of these for sure!



Note to HK - My opinion is that Modelers do like to "tinker" and this item is a perfect example. Low cost, low shipping, highly customizable. If the sail had a preprinted patern on it, I don't think I would have bought it, nor paid extra for it.

Nice plain sails to suit the Monsoon or Legend Sail Boats. They arrived rolled up as per in the original kit. Add your own graphics or numbers to make your boat distinctive on the water. Good to see parts for the other models now being stocked.
