A Manual would be a nice consideration from Hobbyking. This is the second product with no instuctions from them Do they really know why they are selling these products

Ive been using these now for several years, they used to be absolute magic but in the last year or so a gremlin seems to have crept into the system.

When connected to a 2 cell fully charged LiPo the lights used to be green but that seems (at least with the last six Ive had) to longer be the case, they just go to a solid red immediately, they can however still be used with care, as at around 6.6 volts on the LiPo setting the solid red light starts to flash, it seems to flash faster as the voltage drops off. So if using LiPos if the red light are flashing dont fly.

On the LiFe setting the, lights are green on a freshly charged pack and turn, red at about 5.5V and become a flashing red at 5.0V.

Take care though as the recent ones that Ive received have come with the setting as LiFe and if you dont change this and use a LiPo pack you wont get a warning till the LiPo is flat as no warning will kick in till 5.5V at which point the pack is effectively dead.

Its not just me either as Im aware of others who have had the same problem.

Its a real shame as what was once a perfect product is now imperfect and I hate flying on red lights!

I haven't used these yet but by looking at the reviews and the price, you just can't go wrong. I recently ordered the Powerbox one from hobbyking, i didn't see these at all. I have 2 and both are still yet to be used. Will update once installed and tested. Thanks a lot HK!!

Gnial.

Nice, light, simple. Nothing bad to say about.
