The Genesis r/c boat is well made and beautifully decorated and I am looking forward to fitting a speed controller and steering servo so can see it perform on our local club lake.
Sadly, Hobby King have decided to no longer sell good quality model boats and spares as their stock is dwindling and not being replaced, so nice boats like this one will no longer be available for us to all enjoy.

Boat ran well with the 90amp esc that I bought here at hobbyKing, but I'm already changing out the drive system and the Esc for more speed. Would like Hobby King to have the blue and white Genesis in stock so I can buy that One next

GENESIS OFFSHORE TWIN HULL BRUSHLESS RC BOAT

Beautifully made fibreglass twin hull by TFL Hobby in China.(GENESIS 900. Model No.1122)
Actual hull length is 950 mm.
OEM Motor SSS 3674 - 2075KV Brushless Watercooled In-runner
125A ESC with BEC as recommended minimum.
I installed a Hobbywing Seaking Pro 120A watercooled ESC.
I use twin 4S, 2700 mAh, 40C, LiPo Packs.
TFL also make loads of upgrade parts for this boat, including offset rudder with twin pick-ups, 3/16" flex shafts, CNC alloy props, hatch locks, SSS Motors, water cooling in/out lets & full house twin motor set ups.................
Supplied nylon prop is 36 x 1.4 x 4 mm
CNC Upgrade Prop 38 x 1.4 x 4 mm positive two blade on 4S LiPo.
RC Boat Bitz supply upgrade parts here in Australia.
Excellent entry level power boat.
Very stable and manoeuvrable at all speeds on most water surface conditions.

Unbelievably fragile

So haven't even taken out on the water yet but have already noticed a chip in the hull and a fracture in the nose (And I consider myself fairly careful) will see how it performs this weekend but these signs are not good..
