I have been using this charger to cycle NiMH sticks for my e-bike. I also have a Turnigy Accucel 8150 and DLUX 80.
This guy doesn't deliver the rated power. It takes a 1/2 hour longer to charge a pack to the same level as my DLUX 80 (15s 2A). It's constantly dropping off the current during charge. At least it can sort of handle it. The 8150 can't even charge a 15s Ni-MH pack at 2a.
I bought these 8s chargers for large LI-PO packs (e-bikes need lots). I doubt either of them could deal with an 8s pack beyond 75w. This charger will probably do it. But it will take longer. I would say its a 75W charger at best.

I've been extremely happy with this charger, and I own two of them. I have been using them on 8S 3700mAh Zippy Compact batteries and months later, the batteries and chargers are still working without a problem. The menu system on the B8plus isn't the best I've dealt with, but it is still very good, and once you have everything setup for the batteries you use, the starting a charge is very quick and easy, as are monitoring the battery conditions. Most of the menu system was pretty intuitive, and there were a few things I had to check on in the operating manual, which it does come with. The available options are also very good, including turning off various button beeps if you don't want to make noise, setting custom cell charge voltages, and so on. My only main complaints is that the unit gets warm doing only low current charging, and I'm not really interested to see how hot it gets if I maxed out the charger, and the fan is a bit noisy; nothing beyond the norm, but it would certainly be nice if it were quieter. Overall, I recommend this to anyone that needs a good 8S charger.

I bought this and the Turnigy Accucel 8 to compare. Operation of both is identical. The only differences of the Turnigy seem to be the better buttons, bigger screen, bigger overall, longer charging cable, and multiple balancer sockets.

Negs: Difficult to figure out how to use properly; Error messages don't often have relevance to the actual problem; NiMH Trickle charge minimum is 50mA - too high for small capacity batteries (9V 200mAh); Charging current increments are minimum 100mA - need to be 50mA; Lowest charging current is 100mA which is too high for small capacity cells (9V 200mA)

Pros: Cheap. Can charge many cells. Small. Does the job

If you wont a decent charger this one is the best! It charges up to 150watts so you can be sure you will never have to wait for hours until your lipo's are loaded! 5 stars

Very useful charger and discharge faster than Accucel-6 as it can discharge 5A. But my unit fan doesn't turn on during charging. During discharging, the fan will turn on immediately. During charging, even when it is warm, the fan doesn't turn on. I wonder there is a temperature control for the fan during charging. I prefer to be able to enable the fan though during charging though.

I'm used iMAX B8 3 months. Good charging and nice balancing!

The recently charged battery the car Pb 60 A / h resulted in satisfied.

The power supply PC Power Supply. I will recommend to friends.

Impressive charger and nice build quality. 150W is a powerful enough charger for nowadays 4S and 6S users.

I tested a 4S with a $10 multimeter, all 4 cells at 3.98V, with my onboard lipo voltage alarm, 3.98V, with a professionnal Fluke, 3.98V, and on the IMAX B8 , I started a balance charge at 0.1A to monitor the voltage and the 4 cells display at 3.98V by the charger, so I am confident with it.

Note that the balance board plug are not JST, you plug your pack directly on the 8S port on the side.

I also tested the temperature sensor and it works fine, charging NiMH too.
