Great Flight Box

I actually enjoyed building this flight box but found that on the journey to the flying field all the drawers would slide open. So, I've modified mine and the drawers are held shut by magnets installed at the back. The kit goes together nicely and it's sturdy when put together. All parts very accurately laser cut. Well done!

Perfect for slot car pit boxes.

I took a chance and bought four of these as they are so inexpensive. The quality is good and assembly is not difficult, just take your time and make sure nothing gets missed.
I bought them with the intention of putting them together in pairs to make slot car pit boxes, and it has worked out to be perfect for this. Who knew!!!!

Very nice Box.
It took some time to assemble and the instructions are not that excessive. However, parts fit very good. Wood quality is also good and precision is very good.
Will probably buy more in future.

On the basis of some other reviews here, I ordered three of these to use as general purpose toolboxes / flight-boxes. At the time of writing I have assembled one and found the quality of the wood to be very good with all the parts fitting together accurately. Assembly is a little awkward but not difficult, and is part of the fun and one of the reasons I went for this over the plethora of plastic toolboxes that one can buy. When completed the box feels nice and rigid/sturdy. Other pluses: It's easy to put two together to form a larger field box if required. Also easy to modify / customise with the addition of home made drawer dividers, etc to suit specific needs.
Very pleased with these and a steal at 8 Euros.Will probably add a couple more in the future.

I got this on sale for ten (US) dollars - and once I had a chance to look at it, I ordered another one for my brother. It is made out of quality plywood, and the parts are cut very accurately. No assembly instructions, however, just an exploded view of the parts and a vague suggestions as to how they fit together.
TIPS - 1) install the 6 circular knobs on the sides first, it will be a pain later. 2) Make the drawers next and set them aside to dry while you assemble the box. 3) I had to cut grooves in the sides of the drawer stops so that they would clear the nuts from the knobs in tip 1.

when you want to paint it, be sure to use a good primer (I sprayed it with 2 layers of primer, followed by 3 layers of metallic paint.. turned out great and withstands a lot of use without chipping!

Self Assembly Plywood Field Box

Great kit. Comes with instructions (exploded view). Drawers have a good locking tab that doesn't stop the drawer from opening but stops it from easily coming out. My wife wants one now so must be good.

Excellent pieces of kit one of the best flight boxes I have had. Bit fiddly when putting together but when assembled very soils have used for last four months and ready for new summer session
