You need to replace the ESC if you want to run on 3s, the stock one will overheat within a min or two, even on 2s flat out mine overheated after about 8 mins, very impressed otherwise, quite quick on 3s and it can take a bit of a beating, for the money you can't go wrong.

This car is great, running on 3s it has amazing power and top speed. Stripped the front Diff on the 2nd battery after about 40 mins of driving as it wasn't shimmed properly, take out the shim to have a closer mesh between the bevel and diff gear, this will eliminate the issue. other than that the car takes a hard crash and keeps going.

Für zwischendurch eine angenehme Unterhaltung. Beisst sich gut durchs Gelände und auch hohe Gras. Verdammt schnell ist er auch, und dafür reichen auch 2s. Sternabzug gibt es für die nicht besonders stabilen Chassis Teile. Ein leichter Überschlag nimmt dir die Radaufhängung übel. Problem: meist muss das Getriebe zerlegt werden und die Hälften ersetzt werden , weil die Achse am Getriebe angebaut ist. 2. Problem, Ersatzteile sind zu 85% nur in HK lieferbar. Es dauert dann einfach zu lange. Würde mir wünschen das im EU Warehouse mehr Ersatzteile angeboten (in Stock) werden. Ansonsten macht er Spaß.

Great! Possibly better than the Quanum Vandal, and amazing value-for-money!

One of the three best Hobbyking off-roads! My favourite (for the money) is the Quamum Vandal, but this car surpasses even that!
One thing though: if you intend to use this acr for off-road racing or jumps, readjust the shocks a bit higher up.

Bought it RTR in sale for less than 80 euros :)
Great car with 2S 5000mAh packs, why go for 3S - seems too much to me.
Car is fast enough, and can do nice climbing.
Great starter, much better than my old Tamiya 1/10 buggies :) !

Bought this for the grandson for Christmas, lasted 1 & 1/2 batteries before it broke and been waiting 6 weeks for replacement parts, and judging by the other parts out of stock, will be waiting a lot longer. Don't buy this, spend a bit extra and get Tamiya, which you can get spares for anywhere.... It was good while it lasted, just not strong enough.

Great buggy for the price. It does not run well on 3 cells, but does run well on 2. The ESC overheats on either battery, but still hasn't fried anything. Outside of the ESC, I would say the buggy is great.

I wouldn't really call it an 1/8 scale as it's about the same wheel base as my 1/10 scale trucks and doesn't used 1/8 wheels or tires.

I use it to entertain my dog and she still hasn't destroyed it.

All round its ok, just needs stronger upper deck (2 bent in 2 outings very very soft aluminium) dog bones are weak and more spares availability
