I purchased six of these motors and I found them very strong and crash proof on my hexacopter !



Anyway I need four more for my quadcopter but they not yet available.

Since last few months, HK is running after company's profit and sacrificed the quality of their products. I think, in near future HK will be the LEAST preferred online store to purchase hobby parts.

I bought around 10 of these motors and they just stop spinning after couple of flights. Very bad quality.

best value\price, newer revision comes with caprolon washer instead of brass, but all motors need to be balanced with piece of duct tape

J'ai achet 6 moteurs de ce type pour un quadricoptre (donc j'en avais pris 2 pour la rechange). Ils ne m'en reste plus que 3 : ils ont tous cess brutalement de fonctionner.
Du coup, je vais choisir un autre modle de moteur pour mon quadricoptre : ces KDA 20-22L ne sont absolument pas fiables.

I bought 4 of these for my new quad. Today after 5 short flights the one burned out taking the ESC with it and causing my quad to crash. :-( Luckily I have a replacement one on order, but I hope the others don't burn out as well...

execelent moteur pour l'Arcus de chez Robbe a un prix top .super puissant
avec une batterie 1000ma remplace sans probleme celui d'origine

I used them for my hexacopter (6 motors) with EPP1045 props, 18A turnigy plush regulators, 3s battery and multiwii. I measured power during hovering with different weights and calculated efficiency:

total copter weight [g]; power per motor [W]; thrust [g/W]
1500 g; 33 W; 7,4 g/W
2000 g; 50 W; 6,8 g/W
2500 g; 67 W; 6,3 g/W
3000 g; 84 W; 5,9 g/W
3500 g; 102 W; 5,7 g/W

3500 g was hard to fly but possible. 4000 g was too much. the alu prop mount screw things diameter is 5 mm.
