Good value but flimsy cables

Great performance from this tiny motor, which fits micro models. But why are the cables so thin and weak? They have broken on two motors so far. It would be nice if it came with a fitted connector, as soldering them is extremely difficult and adds to the metal fatigue which eventually breaks them. Oh for standardised connectors.

Good value, but wires are flimsy

It's a good performer at a very good price, in my very limited experience. But the wires are incredibly flimsy. A beginner like myself will have to do a lot of trial installations in a small airframe, and the wires just do not stand up to that. This is not helped by the lack of a fitted connector, so I have had to solder one on, adding to the metal fatigue. Hobby King doesn't seem to supply one anyway.

Very good engine for little plane.i tried whith a 5x4 kingkong but was not Very good
I cutted and balanced a 6x3 to make a 5x3 and it's perfect but not 90g of thrust.
The plane is 65g and doesn't climb vertically.
But fly great.with a nanotech 300mah I can fly 12 minutes and wasn't at The end of The lipo.
Should maybe find a 150mah 2s to win 10gr

Another HobbyKing FAILURE

I ordered TWO of these motors as part of a five product order and these Motors have still not been delivered. They were Shipped from H.K on 6.2.21 via DHL, last tracked by DHL at Frankfurt on 25.2.21 - and now presumed LOST. Tried to `chat' with H.K who were not interested, and referred me back to DHL - SO I LOOSE - - - JUST RESEND MY ORDER HOBBYKING. - At 85 y.o I am too tired to fight with Multinational companies who reject responsibility

I'm really surprised at the quality of this motor. I think it can do well above what the specs indicate. I've over-propped, running a 4.2x4.7 and have no issues. Extremely quiet little motor and very smooth. Build quality is really great.

These are great little motors; I put four of them on a 90mm depron wing and it flies well; only trouble is the vibration from the prop-savers supplied is so bad, the grub screws worked out of one of the motor mounts and I'm having to use the screws out of a spare motor to replace them. They worked loose because they're too sloppy and the screws are such an odd size, I can't find an Allen wrench that fits properly. Hobbyking could fix this by supplying spare screws and a wrench, but I can't see them anywhere on the site.
To cut down the vibration I will be using prop adaptors PRODUCT ID: GS0151 instead of the prop-savers supplied-the product would be much better if these came as original equipment.
