One problem with a Hacker motor B40 6L with a Graupner Propeller 14x9,5 without it work perfectlly with it, the engine don't run but the propeller oscillate ????
After a lot of verification on the motor and on the ECS i don't understand where the problem is.
The Hacker work with an other esc and the esc work with an other motor.
gremlins ?
If somebody have a answer i take it very friendly.

I bought one of these a while back and it never worked properly it burned up 2 motors. I want to buy another and give it a try but they have been on BACKORDER for a YEAR!!! HK STILL WAITING ......

runing this in a mig 3 russian soviet war bird, 61# wing span 5 cell batt, 5000mah... on the run way ready for take off total weight is 3.5kg, pulling 78 amps and 1450watts, no probs.

Excellent ESC for Powerboats.

Thiis ECS caught fire the first time I used it with 24 volts. RMA refused becaused I removed the burnt cover.

Maiden voyage-Had ESC running on 2 3s1p 5kmAh 30c/50c burst LiPos connected in series with a KB 45 1200kv, on a 40" v-hull. I'd punch it the ESC would hesitate and at full throttle the motor would kill. Easing it up to speed seemed to work. After 45sec test run I checked it motor only warm, batts cold, ESC slightly warmer. After 2 mins ESC hot-not 2 bad. Let cool ran for 3mins not at full thtl low pop noisebye bye ESC-hot!! Not happy

Some good news for those of you with cogging and motors that wont start up on this wonderful ESC :) Simply put you have a bad (open) connection on the AC side of the inverter (three wire side) between the motor and the ESC.



So double check your wire connections in fact you should always give the wires a tug after splicing them together regardless of whether you solder or butt-splice the wires together and if you hear any clicking or fell
