HK doesn't have proper replacement parts for these helicopters in case of a bad crash.
Good News is that they are clones of the Align Trex 500 PRO and you can get replacement parts through https://www.amainhobbies.com/

Assembly very easy until .... I realize the torque tube is missing ! Problem : HK policy seems to be that if a part is missing you need to return all the item but I want to keep it . Of course the part is not available on the spare parts list ... Such a shame ! The helicopter seemed great . Now I need to figure out where I could find that part .

Six flights so far. Futaba radio, IKON2, Typhoon 500, 60A ESC, 6S battery, Align metal gear servos. I've replaced the main gear and the cyclic ball links. So far, a great helicopter for the price.

Availibility in Europe

Hello. I foreseen to purchase it for christmas, but the kit seems no more available in Europe ? Also seems not available from anywhere shipping to France (estimation of shipping cost doesn't work for France...). Could you please help me ?

Just remember this kit is cheep so if you are expecting the same quality as a 500 align Heli you will be disappointed. HOWEVER for the price this is not to bad at all

Good Heli, Just make sure you blue lock tight all the screws, even on the tail. and replace the main gear with a genuine Trex 500 Gear. Its more beefy and less flimsy as the stock gear.

A very good heli for the money. It has some weak points but nothing major.HK does not sell parts so you will have to get them from a chinese seller, they are ready availble. Also you must check and adjust everything and she will fly great.

What a great Value Helicopter for starting in flybarless flying, if you are stepping up from 450's there are quite a few differences in the putting it together bit, I found it easier to fit the cyclic servo's without the main shaft in place to have better access to the back plates that clamp the servo in position, don't forget to threadlock everything there's a lot more power driving the 500 so make extra certain its not going to come apart. When its set-up with its flight controller its absolutely rock solid in the hover. I'm very much a beginner still practising the hover and gentle circuits but the 500 is superb, here's a tip I was given, fit a 550 tail fin its a bit longer and will help prevent the tail rotor caching the ground and breaking the bevel gears!

Great little heli, flying sport in its standard as supplied form. Torque tube drive gears slop free, very smooth auto rotation. Tail assembly is good all round and fbl head cant fault it, main gear looks a little soft but fine so far. Nothing came loose or broken the kit apart from the canopy which is very thin, brittle and the only negative part on the heli.
