Mine works flawless really happy with the result. It even comes with the dual mini usb cable to run tower on a smart device. No firmware issues just follow the setup procedures from ardupilot website and you'll be fine. Only thing that wasn't good was the gps/compass mount the plastic is really weak. I would just replace that with a aluminum setup. Don't hesitate to buy this!

This is one of the best flight controler pack for me but :
- The gps foldable stand is one of the worst so think to order a "real one"

And i advice to order the external led and usb combo because if it's inside of a multicopter you have to let the usb port accesible and be allowed to see the led of the hkpilot

ps: Don't fogot to have a ppm/sbus output on your rx or a converter ;)

Very nice set for the price. Installation was pretty straight forward. The only thing that was very difficult, was to arm it and get te motors to spin. Nothing seemed to work to fix this. The only solutions I found was to override the safety switch in the parameter list. Not happy with this flaw. Otherwise a great product

Nice kit. You must flash with the latest FW to get the best out of this kit. Just released was the 3.3 beta. Has a lot of nice features worth checking out. I just purchased this same kit for my 680 UC hexacopter. Awsome....

this doesn't have much videos for the setup yet but using the same wiring and other tips for the older 2.7 version helped a lot. mission planner is excellent and I also got 5 sats from the gps included even though I was sitting behind my desk in concrete room with no window so I don't expect this to be a weak gps when I maiden my build hopefully soon. I'll get back with better review after my first flight using this FC

If you aren't connecting with a Spectrum satellite receiver, you will need a PPM encoder. This package does not come with a PPM encoder. Why not? You will have to buy from 3DR to enable you to connect your RC receiver. Buy it here: https://store.3drobotics.com/products/ppm-encoder
