Mounted it on a Y650 Scorpion Frame. Since it also come with an extra JST-Connector for LEDs, I can recommend it not only for Octos, but for Hexa or Y6-configurations as wel..!

Great little power board - excellent value for money. I use them in 250 to 450 size quads without any problems.

I got both the quad power board and octo power board. I am building a mini H-Quad and wanted a simple solution for the power distribution. Unfortunately, the quad power board caught on fire. BOTH OF THEM!

The first one caught on fire when the quad was in my hand and I was moving it around while applying throttle. The power board caught on fire. It could have burned my hand. Luckily I was outside and threw it on the ground. Also broke a prop.

The second one started burning when I was trying to calibrate throttle range on the escs. I unplugged every esc except one. As soon as I plugged the battery in, white smoke started coming out from the power board and it started burning. I quickly removed the battery and the esc.

Do not purchase this product just because it looks simple. It can cost you your escs and battery AND it can cause dangerous accidents. Be careful if you are already using a HK power board.

I use this board on my hexacopter. My motor currents are a bit too high for this board's specs, but it seems to have absolutely no problem with it! Recommended.
