Fan makes noise

So far it works, but the fan makes a bearing noise on start up for a little while. I'm sure the fan will fail eventually. I would rather purchase a power supply without a fan next time (less moving parts, the better).I should have read up on it more before purchase...

useful for the charger if you don't have a battery soure to use the alligator clips that come with the charger, allowing you to use any outlet.

horrible quality. Item quit in less than 2 months!! Was charging it like normal when suddenly smoke began coming out of the unit. Of course it would fail after the warranty/return period is over. That's how they rob you of your money and forces you to keep a dead paperweight. Save yourself the trouble and buy a Turnigy power supply instead, don't ever deal with hobbyking branded products, they are highly unreliable.

Died completely after 3 months of using. No warranty was granted. Can't return item because it is past the return period. There goes $15 down the drain.

I use this with my Accu-cell-6 50W charger, it works well. The fan in makes some noise but it's not terrible.
