HK branded PLA and PETG filaments are a great buy for the money! I find them to have good roundness, consistent melting point and accurate diameter. These characteristics make for quality prints.
I am happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a quality product at a fair price.

At better than half the cost of some filaments, and great printing results, I couldn't be happier with this PLA filament. Ran though my Creality machine perfectly, with no feeding or inconsistency issues. My 3DLabprint Piper Pawnee parts look great.

Very good value and a lot less than other brands of PLA. Nice bright colour and stays the same colour after extrusion. Colour does seem a little more matt than others once printed though. Good temperature range, did not see much difference from 195 to 220 degrees but had trouble with first layer unless printing at the hotter end of the range. Also had to push the first layer closer to the bed as initially hard to stick to the bed (sticks to itself and pulls off the bed). Other than this its absolutely fine after initial layer. Came with a desiccation packet (silica I presume) but would have liked a nice vacuum sealed wrapper instead of just a thin plastic wrapper which was not airtight. The reels have a couple of places to hold end of filament when changing to another colour.

Prints well, good colour, also a good match for the original basic HK 'Orange Colour'

I started using this PLA Premium filament when I ran out of the basic Hobbyking filament. I'm less than halfway through this reel, my prints have been good and the filament hasn't given me any issues at all. The really nice thing about this filament is that it is a pretty good colour match to the original HK 'Orange Colour'.
