In general, these HK UBEC ESCs are my favourite by far! They have the best value, and are very easy to flash to Simonk, with the pads being at the bottom corner of the ESC, and using an Atmel MCU. Regardless of the Amperage rating, I have these as my go to ESC when I buy new ones, I also recommend them to everyone.I heave never seen so small ESC before. I am pretty impressed with its quality Good heat dissipation and well volatage stabilisation makes it my best buy at HK!Solid workhorse and super reliable. A good ESC to run with the smaller motors; check the wattage and other details to see if it is suitable for your application. There is information on the purchase page about this.really small perfect for esc lightvery very tiny esc but does the job, so light u can use it for micro planesNice light wight and cheap ESC. Can be flashed with SimonK for use in a quadcopter. I have it installed in my mini-quad using Turnigy 2211 2300kv Motors and 5030 propellers.Used this to control my hexTronic 16 gram Brushless Outrunner 1700kv and it works great! The programming options are many and they are the same as the 10 or 15 amp HK ESC. I'll use more of these in the future especially at this price.mine is working fine.I have two of these to fit on Bonsai wings. Worked well until the oldest one suddenly failed. Checked the circuits with the Ohmmeter and found no closure on the signal wire. So I cut the heat shrink off and found the signal wire to have pulled off the circuit board. Remnant of the surface copper film is on the solder blob on the now floating signal lead. That leaves a fresh, bare spot on the corner of the circuit board... with no clue as where the circuit needs to be completed. I ordered a pair of 8-10 Amp ESC's yesterday. My faith in these 6 Amp units has been shaken. It's small, It's light, It works. A full 5 star rating.
I used this to power a 5g motor on a 51g plane, and it did great. For the price, and the weight, this ESC is hard to beat. Now I am using it to power a HK-1811 motor on a 100g F3P, I am expecting good results.
