Not the right one

I bought this to program the esc that came with the parasail. It didn't work. I'm sure it works on something else, but I'm only out a couple of bucks. After looking on YouTube, I found a video that showed me how to program it using beeps. It sure would be nice to have an addendum added inside the box showing how to program the esc, but maybe this is too much to ask hobby king.

Good to have but was not working at first try

With 20A HK ESC, it was not working.
I followed the manual step as follows,
First, connect motor,
Second, connect battery
and then connect this card to the ESC.
It keeps making two beeps in 2 seconds.
After this step, it looks nothing been changed.
Manual saying "one beep" if it is successful. so it looks it fails.
So I tried following step and then it was successful.
First, connect motor
Second, connect this program card to ESC.
Third, connect the battery as a final step.
Doing above step, motor gave me one beep and then my setting start working okay.
I tried this with 30A HK ESC and it was working okay too.
