BEWARE of a short circuit!
I have a number of these cheap UBECs and they are prone to short circuiting on the foil shielding directly under the heat shrink. I almost lost my plane because of it. If you notice a glitch, land immediately!!

I am using it in my Mini DLG with 2S 500mAh. Works great and reliable. No problems so far. I am using 5 servos with it, no glitches or what ever. really great value for the buck.

I'm sure it works well but the new version of this is almost twice the size. Not sure why or when they changed it but it's really no longer MICRO. About the same size as their regular 5v/6v ubec but shorter and fatter.

A nice and quite small UBEC ( Universal Battery Eliminator Circuit ). I had previously purchased these other two UBECs ... Turnigy 5A (8-26v) SBEC for Lipo PRODUCT ID: SBEC-26V ... and ... Turnigy 3A UBEC with Low Voltage Buzzer PRODUCT ID: 9171000012 ... but this is smallest one which still provides 3Amperes / 5Volts. As with my other UBECs I soldered a male JST connector to the two input leads. I purchase the male and female paired JST connectors, with lead wires attached, on eBay since for some reason(s) or another Hobby King doesn't carry them. On eBay they come as a package of 10 male and 10 female JST connectors with leads.

works great, sticker looks nothing like the one in the photo though. same size as the 5a/5v one, just that you get to choose your own connector on this one and it's lesser current

Excelent product. I've bought two of them. One almost two years ago and a replacement one, about six months ago. The original one is still working like new in my Trex 450 clone.

utilise pour alimenter une petite camera ne chauffe pas et fourni bien c'est 5 volts

pas encombrant du tout et tres leger 5 etoiles ;)
