all in all a great unit. LCD is CRAP though, impossible to read unless its dusk/night. hence 4 rather than 5 stars.

Apparently some received different model and /or lot.
For some it works. For other it doesn't. That's was my case. Didn't work at all. Constantly beeping . Very poor instructions. No way to fix it. Because of low value, it doesn't worth to send it back. I've bought mine recently (approx. 1 month ago; just arrived yesterday). Because you don't know which model/lot HK will send to you, it's too risky to buy. BE ON THE SAFE SIDE AND DON'T BUY. This is the first time I've bought a defective product from HK.

Finally I got it working...
When I look at the manual/paper that is added, I thought It had to connected to the balance connector. But now I found out It has to be connected to the battery. But the connector of the voltage & Temp display system suggested me otherwise.
Can someone help me, what plugs/ connectors/ connection do I need to use this item in the best way possible? Did you guys cut the small two pins connector off?
Maybe someone can send me a picture of their solution?

Buen articulo aunque el modelo que he recibido es distinto al de la imagen.Para mi gusto es mejor por estar mas protegido en carcasa de plastico transparente.

Awesome must have works great and doesn't look like pic it comes n nice metal storage case and its actually well crafted in hard plastic case not wrapped n clear shrink wrap like n photo I am very impressed with n it doesn't look cheaply made buy 1 or 2 its worth getting and the price is phenomenal

The Idea behind is awesome. This was exactly what i needed for my nitro helicopters.

But for me... the temperature reading was not accurate (65 degrees displayed... but 90 degrees measured with an IR temp gauge)... but that's maybe because i haven't mounted the sensor correctly (there are no "recommendations" in the manual either!

The Second.... and even worst thing is... you CAN'T READ the values in normal sunlight! you can't read it in flight... and you can't read it at the table in normal sunlight! you have to but your hands arround the unit to make it dark enough to actually read the values.... that's a bad thing!

So for me... i just rely on the bright alarm led's.. that's it!

So HW: PLEASE UPGRADE THIS DEVICE FOR A MUCH BRIGHTER LED OR EVEN BETTER AN LCD PANEL!

exelente producto, perfecto para saber cuando cortar las lipo y monitorizar la temperatura de helis o 6 celdas, viene en una caja metalica muy atractiva y no trae thermocontraible como en la foro, viene en un encapsulado plastico transparente y con botonera, mucho mejor que lo que se ve, asique 5 Stars !!!
