A very good combo. You have to solder included bullet type connectors for the motor on the esc, as well as the battery one. You have to buy a battery connector of your choice.

I received this combo a week ago and is running good. I am converting a 1/10th nitro buggy to electric and that is what this is going into. I've ran it some but not a whole battery yet still having to print part so i can mount the motor on the buggy. I will share results once project is complete. But happy so far already thinking of purchasing a second one to convert a 1/10th monster truck to electric as well. Let me know if you have any questions.

I have just received this combo today. I admit I was a bit unsure as there were no reviews, but I have owned a few xcar products so I took a chance. It went together easy with the usual soldering of a power connector. You will have to solder on the female connectors for the ESC. The included program card worked fine. After 4 packs through it (B grade 3300 4s which work awesome), I had great results. Lots of power on 4s, very cool running and no issues. Its not a full sized 1/8 motor or ESC (as far as amperage), but is amazingly good especially for the money. The only slight negative I have is there could have been shrink tubing included. Just buy it!
