Received very quickly and built over 2 days.
Instructions quite poor, if this is your first build, then you are in trouble! Not enough pictures/ information on ESC/ battery, support struts.
The biggest modification I had to do was fit hinges in the ailerons and elevator and remove 1-2 mm of foam, once the hinges were in place. The ailerons barely move as the foam is so stiff (this is normally the hinges!!) After that great.
I used a bit of the carbon rod to strengthen the canopy (how the hell does this fit!).
WHY??? is the centre of gravity checked on the lower wing...surely this should be from the upper wing?
Agree with one other review... Hobbyking.com all over the wing, do you realise how many store owners we fly with? a bit embarrassing.

Good little biplane,easy to put together.except fitting the top wing needs precise cuts to fit the holding struts..instructions are easy to read.i simply cut the lower section off nose off and glued some 3mm balsa for stiffness and makes a great battery compartment rather than cutting a slot in fuzz as per instructions..which seems abit week..and all was well...flys great plenty power with 1500mah batt....overall neat plane

Yes this is a great foamie bipe! this is one of my favorite planes, goes out with me every time i go flying. I have 120 flights on her. Flys sport and 3d very well and very little down elelvader while its inverted, it just floates. Its was packed very well.

Cons, marks did not line up very well when aligning wings so i just measured it up got it petty darn close. Stock motor lasted 80 flights before it fried. Installed a Tmotor 2208 1260kv flys very well with a 9x4.7sf prop. 1300amp lipo for 8min. flights.

I get a lot of compliments on looks and how it flys. I highly recomend this to any one looking for a fun biplane!!!

This is a great Bi Plane, hovers easily and very maneuverable. With 100 flights on it and several hard landings or crashes it has suffered no major damage and is still like new. The stock motor is underpowered, I used a 2213 1000kv motor and 10X4.7 prop with great results. Fairly fast but back off on the power and she slows up immediately and flys sooo slow! The most graceful of my planes for sure and a blast to fly!

Wow what a great kit for the money. ive always flown Bixler style planes in the passed and never had anything sporty like this. its so much fun and brings new life to a hobby i love. im using it as a way of becoming a better pilot without the risk of destroying a delicate plane. i use 850mah for very light weight flying but also fly it with 1000mah for extended flights. when building the marked slots for the top wing position in relation to the bottom is wrongly marked either you have to move the fuselage cutting slot forward or the slots on the bottom wing back. other than that its a great kit. i built mine with hot glue and also spent a long tine working the control surfaces for extra movement, i also cut slots along the control surface hinge to ease the strain on the servos (9g all round)

Takes time to put together and wing braces do need reinforcement. Other than that, quite a predictable flyer. Fun on 2S with a 10x4 slow fly and a handfull of fun on 3S with 8x4 prop.
A great airframe.

Excellent overall quality, quality / price ratio truly exceptional.
Ottima qualit generale del prodotto, il rapporto qualit prezzo notevole.
ho montato il motore stock (2212 1400kV), un ESC-20A EMAX e tre servo Hitec HS55; ricevente hitec minima6E. Con la batteria da 1300 3s montata come in foto perfettamente bilanciato.
In volo pu essere dolce e farfallone in assenza di vento; a cui effettivamente sensibile. Con escursioni ridotte ( sensibile ai comandi) adattissimo anche ad un neofita che non vuole investire molti soldi e capire se il volo RC l'hobby adatto. E' anche molto robusto e quindi difficilmente danneggiabile, ma anche eventualmente facile da riparare (in particolare l'unica pecca sono le cabane dell'ala che si spezzano con facilit). Con il dual rate disattivato si dimostra capace di acrobazie anche in piccoli spazi.
E un modello divertente e vivace.

Even for a non 3D flyer like me this is a very engaging performer, particularly in calm conditions. The speed range is huge and all control responses rapid and precise with the right set up. I agree with the previous comments on the instructions and the slot markings for the cabane & interplane struts but it is not difficult to produce an attractive and sound model. Really good value.

I fancied a bi-plane now for a while but having not flown one before thought i might try this one , mainly for cost and ease of repair should my skills let me down.
All in all Hk have done a great job but beware the wing srut markings on mine were 60 mm out, it pays to double check before final gluing ! Two carbon rods were missing.
Didn't like the original colour so decided to go for black and red.
Push rods couldnt push an ant, so i upgraded them same for the prop and control horns otherwise a very enjoyable bit of kit.
