Just fitted these servos to my T-Rex 500. Fits perfectly. Appear to work just as well as the Align servos

I bought four of these servos for a 1.4m wing span Turnigy Extra 260, hoping that they match the promising specification. The wings of the Extra need low profile servos or park servos for the ailerons. Metal gears, no potentiometer ... but unacceptable slackness of the gear. The same at all four servos. The gear as such seems to be o.k. but either the bearings or the fit of the bearings in the plastic casing require attention. The servos may be o.k. for a slow flyer but definitely not for an aerobatics plane.

Using these as cyclic servos for a Gartt GT500TT-FBL kit (same as HK GT500) seem strong enough to move swash and blades and fit perfectly back to back in a 500 class heli.

For airplanes that have a good size to use servants of great people, make sure that your servant will not jump teeth to reseber some pressure because it has its all-metal gears, high quality. For airplanes that have a good size to use servants of great people, make sure that your servant will not jump teeth to reseber some pressure because it has its all-metal gears, high quality.

So far these have worked great with my robird FBL gyro. They run fine at 333hz and don't even get warm. The gains can be set high without causing the shaking you get with cheap inaccurate servos with FBL systems. They do growl a lot at rest but almost all digital servos I've seen do this.

These servos appear to be a 9250 clone with a small daughtercard with a sensor chip on it replacing the pot. I don't know if the electronics are actually cloned or are diffrent but the case and gear train are the virtually the same. The top cap is just different enough that I couldn't use a Fitec 9257 top cap without the servo sounding like it was in pain when the gears moved, something was too tight with the case assembled this way. There is a small plastic bracket with a bearing that holds a shaft with a magnet on the end that goes through to the main output gear. The magnet sits just above the daghtercard and chip and apparently this chip can sense the magnet rotating on the shaft. One thing I like about these is that without the pot there's nothing that can physically go wrong with it. As others have said there is about 0.3 to 0.5mm of side to side slop in the recess in the top cap that holds the ball bearing. you can try to use a bit of CA to build up the sides but care must be taken to not use too much because if you press the bearing down it creates drag on the output shaft. In my opinion it's better to just leave it as is because 0.3mm of side to side slop won't have any noticeable effect on flight performance, especially in an FBL system (most servos have more than that in gear slop after a few dozen flights anyway, and this is side to side not rotational slop so it do

Great Servos,
Very smooth movement and can be mod to turn 180 degrees by changing an internal resistor.

I'm using them to modify flight instrument for a simulator.

Output shaft on both my servos has a lot of slop due to the bearing being loose in the housing. Pulled them apart and applied CA around the housing and now its fine. But looks like I'm not the only one with this problem, sort it out HK! Otherwise its a fast powerful servo, no other issues.
