put this motor in my slash 4x4, it was a quick swap out from the stock velineon. the stock motor mount screws on the slash work for this motor. Its fast and has incredible torque. Keep in mind the output shaft diameter, this motor is 5mm, the stock slash 4x4 is 3mm, so grab a 5mm pinion with this motor if you want to climb the hills and keep up with the 1/8th scales. motor does not get hot, esc neither running on 11.1v 3cell lipo. 18t pinion, 52t spur.
Wires from the motor were bendable

I bought this motor with the hobbyking 150 esc for my hong nor scrt10.

I have used it on a 3s and 2s lipo.

Very good motor,starts good and doesn't get very hot.

I' very satisfied with this motor.

i test with 3 kind of controller without prop, the motor become hot more 50c after 40 second, I like the KD36-74-15XL 1100kv
