This is actually quite a good thingy. You can tell that at least the manufacturing quality is improved over other receivers when you come from cheap grey Video RX material that is all over the internet. It even features a stylus that enables you to set the channels on the small dip-switches. Yes, my AV cable was crap as well, it featured at 2.5mm jack but the lawmate receiver uses 3.5mm (like every normal stereo headset). Thus, you might need to solder your own cable, other than that, its brilliant. Would fo for lawmate again any time. Would advise anybody to spend a few bucks more for this one if the channels are matching (this one actually uses some common 2.4ghz video channels)
