So I'm not sure why HK is carrying this as it is a terrible design for FPV. I discovered that hobbywireless sells a great modified version of this for fpv. There's a lot of work to do as far as soldering and splicing and I couldn't even get the unit to work. It just became very hot. After soldering, no image at all, the fpv screen was attempting to receive something, but nada. I am just going to splice the small cable and try a 5v bEC and see my luck.

i got this tx yesterday after working with the connectors and trying different channels i got it to work.. it seems great picture clear ..only ground tested it.. it gets really really hot n its really tiny..il stick a small heat sink to help it cool off.

it works off 5v but u can use 12v cause the cable with it lowers the voltage to 5v at output ( measured with a multimeter). So long so good hope i can get the range im expecting..

i previously had the 1000mw one but its over seas in my skywalker :) and this one here is for my 4 years beaten up old wing.

I bought 2.. and one came dead from the package. and the second one is not worth the money.. the 700mw transmitter is 3x better cheaper and runs on 12V..
I would recommend - PRODUCT ID: 381000023 over this one anytime of the day.

I've purchased this item now. Although some vendors have had feuds with LawMate regarding quality control, I will take a neutral look at it and post my full review here. Stay tuned..
