Good graphic display, but the connector to the Arduino should be on the other side. It is now not perfect for placing it in front panels.

To get this to work using an Arduino MEGA 2560 using the serial port (6 pin socket)
try the following wiring:
LCD12864 Pin 1 to Arduino pin D4
LCD12864 Pin 2 to Arduino pin 5 Volts
LCD12864 Pin 3 to Arduino pin D3
LCD12864 Pin 6 to Arduino pin GND
LCD12864 Pins 4 and 5 are not connected.

Serail pins on board for connection:

5- NC(not connected) it seems like extenal power for back light (i don't use it)

Mine arrived with three scratches on the screen and one switch broken.

Sehr schnes Display. Es luft auch gut mit u8glib!

If the display is connected via Sensor-Shield/SPI the constructor should be:
U8GLIB_ST7920_128X64_1X u8g(3, 4, 2);
Pin 3 is Clock (SCK), Pin 4 is Data (MOSI) and Pin 2 should not be connected.

Realmente um produto de otima qualidade com um acabamento sem igual o unico inconveniente que achei foi o fato de as conecxoes serem feitas pela frente do display e nao por traz dificultando uma montagem em gabinete e desta forma tera que remover a solda dos pinos e colocar uma barra de pinos de 90 graus

Very good board, I just made the upload of the library available on the net (see in the "files" folder of the profuct). The Serial library I uploaded doesn't work with the current version of the environment (Arduino 1.0.3), to perform the test I used the ARDUINO 0021 ant it works perfectly. Library available shall be adapted to the new environment rlease (i.e. 1.0.3)
