OK, So now I feel goofy. Place the leather pocket on the limb tip and the loop with the cord facing the limb on the other. Stand with BOTH FEET spread wide on the cord so the limbs are being pulled down as much as possible so the leather loop won't slip. Some adjustment of the length of the cord loop may be required so the bowstring doesn't get hung up and this will work nicely. Ignore my last review...definitely deserves a full rating for quality and price. (Standing with one foot in the middle of the cord will always cause the loop to slip inwards, don't do it or you will look as goofy as I did.)

Nice quality but will need modifications to work properly

Sorry to say that these Bow Stringers do not work. The material and sewing quality is very nice. I liked the idea of a leather stringer for nostalgia sake, but the upper limp leather slides on the limb all the way up to the riser making it impossible to use. I had to wrap a rubber band around the leather to keep it from sliding and even that didn't work well. I will be disassembling the upper leather from the cord and dipping it in liquid rubber (Plasti-dip) so that it has a non-slip surface. Hopefully this will help.
