The EDF is a complete fail. Far away from balanced. Scratching and very unhealthy noises during groundtest. I replaced it with a Change-Sun 50mm unit. Maiden flight then was very smooth with the nice
CS-Jetsound.a great little plane. If you can fly already this would be a fine start in edf the kit does have minor niggles with wings and tails warped but its easy to make them straight and true ,then it flies great the hinges for the tail needed to be cut shorter and it took a while for the glue to hold them tight in position but it still flew ok. good value I like this range so I got the a6 as wellWhat a lovely looking and flying little model. Few niggles such as one warped tail ( easily soved with a hair dryer ) and unbalanced fan. But all easily resolved. I went for taileron only ( no ailerons) and 850mah battery. First 2 flights, the canopy detached, so another magnet was added. This sorted it out. I liked this so much, that I got another just in case.Il modello si presentato bene, impacchettato in modo decente e privo di difetti.
Il tempo di costruzione, non cos immediato, merita di essere osservato bene in ogni sua parte prima di incollare i pezzi, e grattare via la vernice dove va applicata la colla.
La ventola gira bene senza vibrazioni e col suo classico rumore esagerato.
Il baricentro bene fissarlo come da manuale.
Si presenta molto docile in volo, non necessita di expotenziali, e conviene avere una buona escursione dei servi.
La ventola non spinge moltissimo, abbastanza veloce nei rettilinei, ma debole nelle salite verticali, se poco pratici si rischia lo stallo facilmente. Lo stallo il classico dei jet, viene gi di pancia ed poco pericoloso.
Non un modello di alta qualit, ma per il prezzo stupendo.
Consigliatissimo.Nice Model and easy to assamble, unfortunately one servo didnt work and when firing up the edf the first time, it 'disassambled' itself and lost 3 of its 5 blades :(( Have to buy replacements before first take-off. Quite disappointingGreat little jet.
Roll must be set to around 30pcnt and pitch to about 80pcnt to fly comfortably (for me at least).
Re-inforcing of the nose under the canopy with carbon rods is highly recommended.
You can fly with a 1300mah comfortably and I got it to fly with an 1800mah 20C just barely.
Paint the nose white for better visibility (it is really hard to see orientation at a distance).

I placed the linkages so I got minimum throw (aileron on innermost hole, and tail elevon on second to innermost hole), programmed 60pcnt expo on aileron and elevator. This made for a very nice maiden, but still absolutly insane roll-rate on full stick. Drawback is that the fan scraped the shrouding and was badly unbalanced. I removed the engine from the shrouding, rotated 90 degrees and screwed back in using M4 holes instead of the standard M3, this allowed to adjust motor centering before tightening the screws. Flying experience was absolutely awesome, it floated without thrust for landings, CG spot on according to manual.my best skyangel . i own 2 and they are amazing planes . easy to fly and cg was correct like the book said . prety fast for the size . i love it and i will buy more skyangels from hobbyking . nice job hobbyking . thxGreat little EDF but as it's only my second it's hard to really compare.
Assembly was tricky with the horizontal stabilisers. Try not to get glue in the joints!
The access to the ESC is non-existant and I will have to cut a section from the top of the foam body to replace it when it fails one day.
Also be careful to keep the horizontal stabilisers clear of the servo rods by fitting them near a cm from the body on the sides.
Looks great but for anyone wanting to buy one I highly suggest painting some brighter colours on the wings as it is REALLY hard to see which way is up when flying it at a distance.
It's really fast with stock equipment (seems to be to me anyway) and have had no problems so far (in 3 flights). Hand launch at about 70pcnt power and cruises easily at the same.
One other really important thing to note is that you should set the roll on about 30pcnt movement of the servos and the pitch at about 80 pcnt.

Model po odciciu napdu szybuje poprawnie i cay lot jest jak najbardziej przewidywalny.
PS Rakiet nie montowaem, bo odpadyby przy pierwszym ldowaniu na trawie.
