Arrived well packed and promptly from the Beijing warehouse - very impressed with the standard of build and presentation of this model. The main undercarriage now comes in one piece and the parts count is sufficient to build the kit from the online instructions. The main wing joiner in my kit is marginally over length and will need trimming to length. I will likely replace the steel wing joiner with a carbon one anyway. This is going to be an interesting build!

Beautiful plane but at the first take off the plane was crashed severely

One explanation of this desaster was that the course of the wing tip was too high.Take care !!

Now the wings are always good but the fuselage is broken and Hobbyking does not deliver replacement part for this plane

Perhaps some of you have a fuselage available and is ready to send me it (please define the conditions )

Hallo Kufer aus Deutschland,
Ich habe heute das Paket aus China bekommen - es dauerte ca 10 Tage. Keine Bauanleitung dabei, billiges brchiges Plastik mit mehreren kleinen und reparablen Transportschden. Verpackung war aber OK. Ob die insgesamt brchige Konstruktion einen etwas "unruhigen" Flug bersteht wage ich zu bezweifeln - schaut mal bei Youtube nach ... Aber es ist halt Ware nach Wert zzgl. 19 4pcnt beim Zoll. Ein 2. Mal wrde ich den "Plastikbomber" nicht kaufen.

This is my first order on the UK warehouse. I ordered at 4pm on Tuesday 18th September 2012 and the parcel was delivered by ParcelForce on Thursday 20th September at 10am. Well done Hobby King UK.

The item was double boxed and there was no damage.

The quality is better than I expected, and on first inspection, there are sufficient parts to meet the description.

The nosewheel components include a false spring system, but this doesn't match the supplied nosewhell leg. I will build the model without the false decoration so this is not a real problem. The manual which can be found in the files section on the web site shows a sprung nosewheel system. I suspect that this would be rather flimsy for a grass strip.

The main spar provided is steel, I will probably change this and use a carbon fibre spar.

There is much discussion on the net regarding the best motor and battery combination. I have decided to use a 37X55 1600kv heli motor salvaged from a HK 500 helicopter. I will start with an 11X6 prop. I expect this to pull about 60 amps max on a Turnigy 3000 40/50c 3S battery.

I will submit a build and fly review later.

First time UK order. Very fast delivery, took only 4 days. Plane was double box, outer box had minor damage, but inner box was fine. Inventoried all parts, everything is accounted for. I plan on using a Turnigy 3542 1000Kv/85A Turnigy ESC. I'll have a Go Pro cam upfront. I should be able to get it flying by the weekend will update when I maiden.

Hi from Australia, I found the MQ-9 to be a very smooth flying and fairly docile airplane to fly, the Rhino 2350mAh 4S1P 25C Lipoly Pack powering the Turnigy 3639 Brushless Motor 750kv
was more than adequate for the job and gave an excellent performance, allowing short takeoff
and plenty of climb rate.

But be warned - do not lower the flaps to land, until the model has finished turning onto a straight final approach. I found out the hard way and telling you so you dont do the same, or
you will tip stall and crash like I did.

Apart from that an excellent model and if I could buy another fuselage I would be happy to rebuild and fly again.

I purchased my model secondhand from the original owner.

Me lleg el avin a primeros de agosto, el embalaje estaba en perfecto estado pero el avin vena con el fuselaje rallado en varias partes, las puntas de las alas rotas las dos, la varilla de acero principal y otras partes oxidadas, el plstico de la cpula de la cmara todo rayado, faltaban piezas, el tren delantero no se corresponda con el del avin, vamos, un desastre. Me puse en contacto con HK en un montn de ocasiones y no hacen ms que darme largas. Total que llevo 8 meses con el avin roto y siguen sin darme solucin. El servicio postventa es realmente pattico. Como para no volver a comprar nada aqu.
