Good motors, props not so much

Motors are fine and perform well, however I'd recommend fitting them with a decent branded 9045 or 1038 prop, as the ones supplied have a tendancy to deform when the motor reaches around 80 percent power, causing the quad to tip violently when it's trying to correct, or shoot off at an angle on a quick ascent. Weight isn't an issue, replicated results on a bare 525 frame as well as a loaded flamewheel.
For the price would buy again just got the motors, though.

3 of 4 not working correctly

Bought two sets of these, 3 out of 4 wont spin, just shudder for a few seconds and stop. Got them with 20amp Turnigy Multistar BLHeli-s esc's, so not sure which is to blame.

I bought 5 of these for my drone. I bought all parts for the drone in one lot from HK, just under $1000. 3 out of 4 fitted will not spin up, just shudder for a few seconds then stop. There is no program card available. Also no manual or information able to be found on Turnigy site in regards to programming with transmitter. Tried BLHeliSuite, ver 16714901 but the ecs's cannot be found on PC software even though the autopilot can be found when connected to PC. Even when connected straight to reciever the same problem happens.

Multistar 2212 Combo set with Self-Tightening Props

Excellent value for money. Self-tightening props make it very easy to install them on the motors. Extra long wires on these motors makes for a very tidy connection to your ESCs. 2212 Multistar motors are a quality product. The whole set comes in a very nice foam-filled box and is worth keeping to store your spare propellers in. I have bought 3 of these combo sets for a Hex build and I'm very pleased with this product from HK.
