power house and smooth. I have them on a HK color 250 (needed 3 mods to fit clean, shaved top of arms back to first slot so wires didn't rub motor can, opened 2 of the small holes to get screws in motor so wires lined up with arms, and enlarged center hole for clip on bottom of motor). I didn't get an amp reading on my data logger with the 2 blade 5050 props on 3s because an ESC shut down and it crashed. New frame and 2 blade 5045s on 3s produced an amp draw of 58.4 amps on the data logger. With 5050s the quad acted at least as fast as my other HK color 250, 1806-2300kv motors on 4s. These motors are truly beasts, I love them motors but will be getting bigger ESCs for them. 20amp would be minimum if not higher.

The good: they have lots of power.



The bad: these motors are heavy, so every time I crashed I broke an arm, which I turns pulls out the motor wires on these. It has happened twice now. They talk about how amazing these are and how it has a bigger motor shaft. Well that doesn't help the wires are missing!.



In summary I will never buy these motors again nor will I buy from HobbyKing every again.(because their customer service is deplorable at best)

Really like the mini monster, they are so powerfull and very quiet with a 6 inch bullnose propellers. Yes they have a disadvantage because they are open at the bottom and earth or other things can come in the motors. that can seriously damage your motors, but overall peformence is quiet nice.

Great motor. Works well on 3s (4s planned). Upgraded HK Swamp Dawg using this motor and a 6030 prop. Lots of power and fun with this set up. Very nicely balanced no noise resonating throughout air boat body like stock motor.

These are the best motors i have for my mini quads and tri's! I use them on 4s and they are very punchy! I'm buying more for sure!

Very good and nicely designed motor. It does give you the punch you need for turning a Mini Quad ballistic. Recommend 5" Triblade props or 6" two blade props on 4S for some real excitement.
Good upgrade from BabyBeasts and looks very well built.
4mm shaft a big in my book!

Work well in my racing quad. I even mixed them with 4 mini beast motors and they worked just fine.
