Does not fit your Drive 50 V2

Even-though you might have found this item via the link 'accessories' on your NTM Prop Drive V2 -50's series page, this one will not fit a V2 motor. HK is aware of this, but has failed to remove this item as an accessory from their webpage. A fitting ACC pack HK will not be able to provide. So, once you're in the position that you need this item, you can stop using your motor because you will not be able to get a fitting ACC pack.

The accessories marked NTM 50 are actually for a Propdrive/NTM
50 60 size motor, this is a slightly bigger diameter.
Makes the accessories for my Propdrive/NTM 50 50 V2 motor of no use whatsoever..
There is a need to clarify which 50 series motor accessories are required!

When I first saw the picture of this adapter I thought it was for direct shaft mounting. Take a closer look and you will notice it has three holes in the base. It mounts directly to the rear motor case which is what I was looking for. The HK Product Specialist advised me of this. The picture doesn't show much of the shaft as it is partly screwed into the nose spinner.

Be warned!!
The recess on the base of the prop adapter may not be enough to clear the motor shaft. Mine wasn't when I fitted it bolting it down forced the shaft into the motor. This produced play in the motor resulting in excessive noise. My solution was to reposition the shaft to eliminate the play. I used my lathe to increase the recess to clear the shaft. Problem sorted.
