If you want use 3~4 cell battery for your airplane, this motor is vest choice. Don't forget buy with prop. accessory pack.

as always, bad bearings on the ntm prop drive.
you can easily replace them (1 euro/bearing), which makes them more powerful and more silent. you might be lucky to receive a motor with good bearings, but i'd recommend changing them.
a lot of power for not a lot of money. I use them on an x580 frame with SF9047 and/or SF1045, drives them easily.
pro tip: order some spare accessory kits, they come with manufacturing errors which made me lose a motor IN AIR

the screws striped out and this flew out of my spit fire at full speed, this was partialy my fault because i over tightened the screws into the motor, this fell about a 100 feet and would be usable minus the stripped screws

Motor is noisy as a corn mill, the power and technical data are like description. Everyone will tell you: "Your bearings are damaged".

Excellent motor, i use it on a scratch built foam plane. Lots of power, using a 9 x 6 prop currently, pulling about 250W. Still more room to upgrade prop size or pitch as this motor is good for 352W on 3S.

Excellent drive for any electric plane. Very efficient, high quality, good price. It works in pylon racer with 12x6 carbon propeller. I recommend NTM motors as I bought 4 of them.

More power than the 2826, use 8 to 10 inch props. Not to sure about 4s, it gets very hot!

Running 4s esc battery, 30amp esc and 8x6 prop gets really hot on 60-70 throttle and only used 20amps. It gets really hot and smells . 15v @ 20a is just 300watt but rated at 400watt. not cool hobbyking
