This filament melts a little hotter than most brands, 220-240 and I found printed at 230 perfectly. My printers default nozzle temperature for PLA is 215, and it will block at this temperature. When saving the file to be printed I just set the nozzle temperature at 230. The set-up stages prior to printing will use the printers default settings so in my instance I told the printer that the material is PETG or any filament that prints a little hotter than average PLA, once the print actually starts then the temperature values saved with the file take over, 230 and 60 in my case. It holds detail well, the finish of the filament is dead flat, like primer, and I am painting directly on it as a result. It's harder than other PLA filament and sands better for this reason too. More than happy with it.

The second roll I've bought for my printer and haven't had any problems. Though, I don't notice any difference between this and normal HobbyKing filament. Maybe a nicer roll or something would make it easier to tell them apart.

Nice filament, shame about the blocked nozzles

I started off with a 1 Kg of this filament to print a model 900g and have had to buy another 500g to finish it due to the filament repeatedly (5 times) blocking the nozzle. Different temperatures etc. make no difference. Bear this in mind if you decide to buy this product. Having said that when it is not blocking the nozzle it prints up nicely and a good model should result.
