Prop saver specs

The prop save design is a little different than I am use to, but seems to be reasonably well made. The body is aluminum with steel screws.



The weight of the body alone is 2.51gm or 3.1gm with the O-ring. The body as a very snug (more than my other prop savers) fit to the motor shaft an measured in at .118in or 2.997mm.



The projecting shaft sticking out the front is a .152in diameter (3.861mm) and nicely fits the standard prop adaptor rings from APC.



The O-ring is VERY strong compared to small rubber bands.

For the price it can not get any better. It fits on the shaft like it is supposed to. Only ting I had to do when using gws props is bore or drill the hole out oversize to fit over the prop saver. Having the shat running thru the prop makes it pretty much universal just have to have the proper diameter hole in the prop and it will fit on there. Overall it does the job that it is supposed to do.

I purchased this propsaver for a motor with very short axle. Now i can mount a prop there very good. very cheap and good quality

I found the prop shaft a little for my liking, I just cut it back to about 3mm. Works fine that way.

This propsaver is great. Lightweight, inexpensive and fit's 3mm shaft nicely. I'm using it with the smaller GWS DD props, like the 4040 and 5043 and they fit great. I just wish they had more in stock.
