small brushless motor

Nice small motor. I've not used it as intended, as I found that the 35mm case is really 35.5, and it is JUST too tight to go into the glassfibre fuzelage it was destined for.
I have lots of these propdrive motors, in various sizes, and they are tough and reliable, and suspect that this one will be no different.

Perfect 3S motor

Well,I got 2 of these motors.One was DOA because of magnets being flying in the motor bell.I got immediately replacement from Hobby King.About the motor itself I recommend a maximum current of 25A for 6 minutes.After 6 minutes of continous running,the motor will be about 60 celsius degrees under cowling.Driving the motor for 5-10 seconds at about 35Amp once in a minute will not heat up significantly the motor.Definitely I will not run the motor at 30 Amp under cowling more than 5 minutes,maybe if the engine is totally exposed at a cooling air stream.I tested following propellers with 3S Turnigy 3300 mAh Nano Tech 25-50C : 11X5 (the green cheap ones) 18A , 11X7 (grey APC copy) 25A ,12X6 28A(best flying for my 1,4 m Hookli Cessna) 13X4 26A (grey APC copy) best pull.(my Cessna goes 90 deg.up!!!).Overall best 3S best 350W motor I used.

I purchased this motor for a FX-61 wing kit.
It works great and can run either very efficient; 30 minute cruise speed run times on the FX-61 with a 9x5 prop, 3200 4S, or 15 minute run times with varied flight including multiple full throttle steep climbs, loops, rolls, etc.
It will also go crazy fast on the FX-61; I have not tested the high end output yet.

I use this ones on the traction of my 12lb combat robot i have more than 1 year with them with no complains, tons of power with moderate current consumption and little heat.

Actual weight with prop adapter and mount is 140 grams

Just received these today and weighed them on my gram scale. With prop adapter and motor mount and screws the actual weight is 140 g, not 88 as advertised. Appears to be the typical high quality motor I have come to expect from HK.
