Outstanding motor

This motor is perfect for your 8-10lb in plane. At 8 lb it has unlimited 3D. It's turning a Turnigy 19X10. At full throttle on 8S 2650 it draws around 75 amps. Our club has been using this motor for several years with great success. I would recommend this motor.

Handles Lots Of Amps

I have 3 of them in different models up to 6kg powered by 6S batteries in combination with 17x10-18x10 props. They do not get more then luke warm even on hot summer days when the motor cooling is good. I am sure it can handle also 19x10 prop without problems. The only slightly negative thing is that the motor is not a light weight for its size and the bearings could be made of better quality. Sometimes they have bad bearings from the beginning, but it got better with the latest versions. Otherwise no complaints with its Power and current draw.

I use two of them, they are powerful and well fabricated. Powered under 6s - 6000 running a 18" x 10" prop. Lot of flying time.

bought 2 of these and tested. First one failed at 8s 16x8 APC prop at 46A. Hobbyking in process of replacing defective unit. Second one seams very strong on 16/8 prop 8s appox 55A and an amazing 10,000 rpm. Not sure yet if this rpm is too high for long term durability. But wow very strong should be a power house if max throttle only used for shorter bursts. By KV and voltage on 8s should be safe max rpm should be approx. 10,500 and 2600 watts. time will tell
