Great for medium copter

Works great, you can plug it straight into your receiver and map a switch to that channel and you're good to go. Also works with Ardupilot and PX4 fine once you assign landing gear to that channel. Very noisy however, adding some grease to the gearing quiets it a little bit but not by much. You only hear it when taking off and landing so it's not a big deal.

They stopped working after about 30 cycles and are now in the bin. I tried to fix them but the thread had completely stripped. Only flew with them once.

Looks like my previous review got deleted. I received two of these units and both are defective. The mounting and everything is easy. There is definitely something wrong with the servos. I had the first set replaced under warranty and the second set worked once and died. I would really be weary to buy this product. The servos need to be fixed and a newer revision made.

I purchased 2 of these retractable skids when they were offered for $1.00 so I can say without freaking out and loosing my temper. :-) They come in nice clear plastic box with the main gear assembled. One box was missing a rubber foot on one skid.
One side stripped out half way up and the motor inside that side just keeps running.
Will never purchase this for future quadcoputers even if they offer them for $1.00.

Overall, great legs that retract with simple set up. Quality of the actual pieces is good, but when assembled they do have a little play. (i glued mine to keep them from wobbling). I would recommend to a friend for sure.

one of the legs stopped to work after 5-6 , other leg after 7-8open-close period the . I have received a replacemet after several weeks. One of the legs still working but the other works 2times of 3. I do not want to try it out if the gimbal and the camera is on. Not because they sent the gimbal with wrong socket , but it is an other story...

Tried retract 3 or 4 times on work bench then I servo failed! Not even flown yet!! Not very happy with RMA warranty system so I suppose I have got to purchase another servo or retract!
