One of the servo decoder/control channels was broken from when I unpacked it, then the other one stopped working not long after. Now I use it just as fixed legs and it is okay like that but the retraction feature would have been nice.

It is necessary to supply more than 5V (6 - 7V optimal )otherwise it may not work properly.

Great kit for the most part

Purchased two pairs for a very large drone I'm working on, both sets received perfectly fine. Very strong carbon booms, the mechanism is all metal, nicely finished and screwed together - satisfied with the build quality.
The only minor grudge I have (truly minor!) is how the thick booms attach to the folding mechanism. It would seem like this will be the weakest point. I filled the area with a bit of epoxy and used my own screws. After the modification, I have literally sat on my drone (74kg) and the all 4 legs held nicely.
Recommended for ease of mind or medium sized frames.

It is one of the bests in its category: they hold up even for rough landings, even small crashes (about 1m). Tested several times and used 50+ flights :) They are still holding!

These are a great set of landing gear but where even better in January when the $A price was 68.00 six months latter it's $A118.00

The best you can get

Not sure why this item has so little popularity... I think it is one of the bests in its category: it has powerfull motors, no twisting at all. Maybe a little expensive - I bought it on sale for my UC680 - a little big for it, but at least I have enough clearance for gimbal movement.
