Great FC with plugs so no soldering

Shame this is discontinued, get one if you can, load with inav and put a gps on and its rock solid. You have to remove from the case and short out the jp2 pads, then plug in the usb and run the inav configurator. When flashing the bar changes from blue to red and states 'error'. But disconnect and re plug in to usb and run configurator, all is fine.There is an instruction sheet which shows the board and all its connections. The holybro nano gps was virtually plug and play as was the BN220. The Holybro has an onboard compass so you have to sever the connection on JP1. You can do this by using the edge of a stanley blade. If you use the BN220 gps, that has no compass and was truely plug and play. Obviously configuring it in inav is another thing but plenty of documentation/ videos on the net. I like the plugs, I wish more FC's had them. Pad it well, this board doesnt like much vibration.

For updating firmware, I needed to unckeck "No reboot Sequence" and then I was able to flash it. It gives an error when "checking", but at that moment disconnect and reconnect the board and it is already flashed. For installing Betaflight, first update cleanflight to the latest for SPRACINGF3

Seems like more experienced users got it to work but I'm cutting my losses. Expect trial and error using bits of information from random reviews. I'm a beginner and would discourage other beginners from getting this FC.

Good FC but PWM map wrong from factory

Good board, special thanks to Bruno who worked out the correct PWM mapping. If you are seeing the aux channels moving instead of the AETR channels in cleanflight, remap in CLI mode as follows - map AE34TR12 dont forget to save. Thanks to Bruno who stopped me throwing this FC in the bin.
