For those how says "safety first" this is what you need.
Especially for large planes. (smal planes also do fit)
It takes a little while to set this thing up at the field, but it can save some fingers or hands....
Easy to start your plane without the help of a buddy.
You can hold the startermotor with two hands while pressing it against te spinner.
Very well thoughtout design! (only the price is a bit high)

I just recieved mine the other day and it looks really good. Just putting final touches on a gas plane that inspired me to go ahead and buy this. I figured it was a cheap investment in helping to be safe around a big gaser prop. The alloy is very nice, is really thick and solid on the base especially. I was quiet surprised at the weight of the unit in the box when it arrived at my house. I'd say this thing is one of very few items we buy these days in this hobby that looks like it is designed to last more that a flying season. In fact i would believe this is an item i could probably pass on to my kids to use themselves!

I have used the restraint every week and multiple times per day since December & has been used with gas/petrol aircraft. The main restraint/peddle is very solid and built with good gauge alloy, it's clearly the part that counts and is built to last. I have an engine that likes to start backwards at times and having the front legs prevents the model from moving backwards. The best part is that I just unlock the peddle, press and away no need to lift the model or remove anchor points from the ground. A truly worth while product that just works.
