I had a problem with this when it first arrived, but it was replaced straight away and I haven't looked back since. The picture quality is outstanding for such a small camera. It's so good that I take it with me on holiday!

I initially had a problem with the first one I ordered, but all credit to Hobbyking, they sent me another one immediately.
The picture quality from this camera is outstanding! I loved the packaging, with the extra straps, cables etc. So easy to attach it to whatever you need to.

A reasonably good cam. Only downsides are the woeful wifi range, 10m often enough or if a solid object gets in the way much less, and the app, which makes gaining a wifi reconnection cumbersome. Still though, nice enough IQ, considering what it is.

wonderful little camera, great picture quality in hd, wifi app works great and easier for camera settings, easy to set up, lightweight with a wide field of view , for $75.00 us, you won`t find better picture quality thats for sure !!!
i was really suprise when i first used it,,,,,my first word was !! wow !!
i bought it for my long range fpv trips,,,,,wow again !!

240FPS problem

I've been trying for days to make 240fps work and had come to the conclusion that the setting simply didn't work, I had only one frame in every 8 changed to a new one, with seven duplicates in between. After talking to Runcam via email it turns out that there's a bug in the App setting of this function and doing so makes this strange problem show, but setting the camera using the OSD menu on an external screen attached to AV Out solves the problem, now perfect 240fps with no duplicate frames.

Fantastic unit. I bought the bright orange one as I like bright colours. It does a brilliant job of recording at 1080p at 60fps. It even does slow mo if you want to. And higher 1440 res at 30fps.
It works standalone for about 35 minutes at 1080p on its internal battery but it can be powered from your distribution board on your craft instead if you wanted to.
I think this is money very well spent as it comes with all the leads and brackets to fit just about wherever you like.
I have used it on a couple of quadcopters, a bix 3 and even in my car using it as a dash cam. I travel a lot and need to keep it plugged in on usb.
Just remember to buy a decent high class SD card as the files get quite big quickly while recording. It's just amazing value and quality in a small neat box.
