I do not fly quad-copters. Matter of fact I hate them and they are illegal in the county I live in with out a special drone license. I bought this specifically for 1/12 scale fixed wing. I took a risk, not knowing what I will get and how, if at all it will work. I bought four right off the bat at a special introductory price. I am not sorry I did so. Matter of fact, I am sorry I did not buy eight or ten of them. They are tiny, smooth and powerful. They take to fixed wing like a duck to water. The only thing is that there is no built in BEC. Even though I did not realize that when I bought them, I don't care at this point because I love them so much. I just have to use a auxiliary servo battery. Another tiny LiPo single cell with a 5V booster will work just fine. I use those in my 1/12 gliders and they weigh nothing. The only complaint that I have is that the units went up 4x the cost just after I bought my first four.
