Fantastic Gimbal

Considering that it's such a low price, this is a truly FANTASTIC gimbal.

I have been using this gimbal for over a year now and I have several things to say:

1. Some reviewers on here say it's a bit fragile and won't survive a crash. It's made of engineering plastic and I've found it to be quite strong. I'm pretty amazed that is survived a crash I had a few months ago. I did have one of these gimbals crack about a year ago, but it was quite a hard crash and my only surprise is that it wasn't worse.

2. You NEED to feed it a stable power source. GoPro's expect to see a stable voltage coming from the 5V power source. Make sure this is the case. I would not recommend powering this gimbal (or ANY gimbal/camera) directly from an ESC. Use an sBEC and feed it nice regulated power and you will not have any problems.

3. If you want both pan/tilt, you need to update the gimbal, but it's quite simple to do. Just plug it in to your computer (it includes a USB cable, just plug it in to the same little brick that the power cables come out of) and update it using the firmware from their website.

It's less than $100 people! For such a low price, I am absolutely astonished at how incredibly well it works.

This gimbal produces incredibly stable shots, nice smooth pans, and so on. I can't recommend any gimbal more than this one.

Unfortunately my Gimbal didn't survive a crash very well at all, it snapped on the main arm. I have managed to glue it back together but it doesn't respond at all now when reconnected to the Quad. Shame really because the actual gimbal is very good when in use.

love this gimble using it on a tarot 650 sports extended to 850 with tarot xyz-m flight controller it was a little tricky to get the tilt function from the taranis working. managed to do it with the x6r sbus using a y splitter to the single yellow wire on the gimble from the receiver. hope this info helps others with the same problem

The Tarot GOPRO T4-3D 3 Axis Brushless Camera Gimbal works great and it is very smooth ..But the arms are very very weak..And had one break after a week of using it..Yes I would buy again if there was a better arm or way to beef it up.

Bought it here for 67 dollars, solid gimbal ready to fly out of box.
Quality for this price is perfect but sometimes it lose horison and stabilisation is not perfect but very good

Nothing in the description of the product is accurate; So here is what they don't tell you about this gimbal.

First it requires the tarot flight controller, it will not work with the storm or pix-hawk controllers. Second it is only comparable with go-pro cameras and will not interface with other cameras. Third, although it will stabilize in three axis, it only allows you to control the tilt of the camera.

Two major flaws in this product:

1) Camera power supporting wire only feeds 0.7-1 AMP, camera does not charge and you will not be able to run camera withiut the battery. Moreover if you run FPV from your gopro with this gimbal you will run into various picture problems all related to not enough power output for camera. Now I have to mod the stup1d thing to make up for bad design from ass-head manufacturer.

2) Plastic material it is made of is crazy fragile. It cracked under almost no load once and with no real impact, had to glue that back.
