I run this in my 4x4 short course truck and i love it !!!!
I run it with a Tekin RX8 Gen2 in a MIP SCTE Truck and i like the smooth powerband of this motor!!!
I can recommend this Thing

Been using this motor in my Tekno SCT410 for some time now. Great power, longer runtimes than my tekin or hobbywing. Temps are down and I can adjust timing on the can and in esc with this motor. Mated with a Hobbywing sct pro this motor screams.

Very good motor. Keeps cool on 3s. Used in my Traxxas Rustler with no issues. Strong motor.
I wish that the vent holes were not so large. The holes are toward the front of the can so the debris is shielded by the transmission housing. Still not ideal though. Rocks will eventually find a way in. Some sort of mesh should be used to cover the vent holes.

Um, wow.... TORQUE MONSTER! Running this in my SCTE 2.0, using a 12T pinion and it's ridiculous. Had to up the punch control a bit because it was way too much low end power, but once I got that sorted it's awesome - heaps of top end @ 4850KV, too. Not my first Trackstar motor, and my others are holding up awesome after a few months - hoping to see the same longevity results from this one :)
