I am delighted with this charger. It takes a while to figure out how to make changes to the factory presets, but from then on it is great. I especially like knowing the cell internal resistances. You can easily spot what's causing packs to go bad. However, since I charge 5S-5000mah packs 90pcnt of the time, having to use the connection boards became a hassle. I cut off the lead from the JST-EH side of the board to the charger and made a long extension, using two 5S extensions and now I can reach my battery pack balance connectors easily. I wish that the charger was sold with the long extensions I made.

Pretty nice small charger. Easy to use, however the number of presets is poor. It is not complete dual channel - I would like to say that sometime you can charge two battaries.
do not forget two bye TWO balancing boards

Operation: After problems were resolved, it performed great, charging both turnigy 2S 5800mah nanotech in a very short time at 10A (input voltage at this time was 17.7v according to charger), after balance all sells @ 4.20v. I did a storage cycle after this and and it took rather long since it only discharges for starage at 1A! anyway, after storage cycle complete all sells were at 7.79v.

After charging: Power supply and charger slightly warmer then room temperature, they operate quietly with the fans only engaging every now and again. Batteries where cold to the touch. after both charge and storage (discharge) cycles.

Conclusion: Highly recommended. This is a great charger and I think it offers good value. Make sure you understand the manual (same as xellpro 10XP )before operation.

Quality out the box: seems very good, nice screen and easy to read. Menu options easy to understand and navigate with a lot of nice features. There are rumors that this is a rebranded cellpro XP, i believe it, although detuned to only deliver 10A max, not 15A.

Paired with: Two jst-xh balance boards and a 540w 18v hobbyking Power supply. (NOTE: does not come with discharge leads).

Problems: Initially had a problem "Ch1 bad S. Count" when trying to charge 2x 2S turnigy nanotech batteries on eboth channels using preset 1 or 2. Turns out after some investigation and with help from HK support, the balance boards convert the jst-XH wiring to the default node automatically, so if you are trying to charge jst-xh plugs using the turnigy, you must NOT set your charger wiring node to XH- KEEP IT IN DEFAULT (even though the manual says jst-xh should use XH wiring node). Also check that all the balance plugs wires are in properly, I got a "Ch2 Bad S. count" due to one not being seated properly while trying to discharge.
