Bought this to replace a rather stiff wire leading to one of the front lamps on my bike. I suspected it had been broken by the steering movement of the front wheel but in the end I found the problem lay elsewhere. So I haven't tried the wire but I'm very pleased with the soft pliable quality.

perfect extension , or hook up lead material where insulation is lasting, around very hot places like exhaust or turbine generating high heat

The silicone coating makes it very flexible . There would be slightly more conductivity if the cable wasn't coated IE , pure copper .
